Come on – Come on–was inspired by Paul McCartney’s Eygpt Station album -I enjoyed the back and forth guitar sounds from one of the title tracks, ” Come on to me”. I think you will hear that in the beginning of my song if you compare the two. Obviously by no way am I comparing myself to such an accomplished and ground breaking artist of one of the founding fathers of the Beatles. Although the influences are there and I would say any inspirations from any artist helps develop more songs and music is a great thing! (I hope Paul would appreciate that point) – The words are an anthem to being yourself and not caring what anyone else (or the Establishment) Thinks – Enjoy, “Come On Come On”

“Another” was written with this neat plugin called Dark Theory. It has some, (I think) Pink Floyd overtones to it, obviously “another” one of my earlier influences. It has a progression that meanders through the atmosphere with some background tones from the Dark Theory. This is a full on instrumental that you need to crank the volume, smoke a joint and be immersed in “Another” time and space continuum.

W’ell as my talking head video explained around a month ago about the song prior to the release of the album,”This is My Life”. You need to play it as loud as your speakers can handle without distorting the sound. You need to play the video in a very dark room on an large High Def screen TV with the music as Fucking loud. You also should be some what buzzed on your drink or drug of choice to revel in the experience of site and sound. You got It?

On a side not -one of my old band mates, Gary Citro (aka Peabody) commented after seeing a preview of the video that it harken’s back to one of the Lampshades original songs called, ” Krakatoa” (east of Java). In which was another hard driving song but had some lyric’s sung by Gary.

This Is My Life

A straightforward tune that might be
its own anthem asserting: “this is your moment”
and fortifying its message with a strong double-
tracked main vocal. There appears to be some
beat anomalies though one never knows if these
are intentionally placed or artifacts from a rebellious
effect plug or two.

The instrumental break is sparse and somewhat disembodied
and the lyrics perhaps a bit redundant. The sound is more
’neo-garage’ then it is ‘recording studio’ polished but allowances
should always be made as this is part of the ‘appeal’ of Buzzi’s
songwriting style.

One wonders if the author was up against a deadline
(self-imposed or otherwise)to complete it – There’s ‘more to this life’
than we are given here both thematically and stylistically.
Perhaps the entertainment adage to
‘always leave the audience wanting more’ has been employed
here with skilled hands (and ears) and for those die-hard fans
of Buzzi’s music out there ‘This Is My Life’ might be
the sonnet they’ve been waiting for. – JoeZworld

The Muse is song #11 on the album, a song from inspiration, your inner muse. A song reminiscent from my early Genesis influences. The lyric’s brings you into mythology, although it sparks some conflict with your own muse and what inspires you. Nice celestial flowing music with a beautiful middle interlude. –

Crazy in love as they say, “just another love song” or as PIL puts it “Not another Love song”. Well whatever it is, it is a nice flowing love song with some nice piano work behind it and in the lead part. I included below (the 2nd video) an outtake when I was recording this video -thought it was amusing.
