I have a Radio station on Pandora radio – Called – “Sugar Boom Radio” You need to check this out it is so cool! Not only does it have some great tunes from your’s truly Aldo Buzzi and my new release “Multiplier”. It has many other really great independent bands with new music to expand your listening horizons. It also has bands that are established already that you would know. If you already been on Pandora radio you will see an icon to your mid right on the screen – you touch that icon and a thumbs up or thumbs down appears to rate the music. Hopefully there will be a lot of thumbs up!

Yes, this album is special to me as I kept playing through it and working on it as I started to have all these maladies in this fucking shitty and not over yet 2020. The year started off good but by the end of February it all started to fall apart. First I got Bells Palsy, for those that are not familiar – it’s a virus that settles in the nerve going to one side of your face and paralyzes that side of your face. This is something that if you didn’t know what is happening scares the crap out of you. Your involuntary motion like blinking your eye does not work-Yes -your eye stays open and you have to put drops in your eye and wear a pirate eye patch -Yo Ho! Also this is the second time in my life that I had this happen to me – so I knew what was happening. As research supposedly shows the re-occurrence rate for Bells Palsy is 8% – Lucky Fucking me! Then in mid March I started coughing and had shortness of breath. Went to the doctor and he said I have an upper respiratory infection. Thus a round of antibiotic’s and other med’s – Let me fill you in on something if you have not caught on already – Upper respiratory infection? – Uhh Da – Covid -19? Sounds familiar? This lasted a few months before I started feeling better. Oh did I forget to mention the 8mm kidney stone, and not just 1 kidney stone but 3 on the left kidney – An 8mm and 2 – 5mm – That was diagnosed in February and I was supposed to get them blasted in March–But due to the Covid-19 pandemic that got postponed. So fast forward to June to get them blasted and since it is considered surgery (non invasive) you need to get blood work and surgical clearance – key word here is blood work – Let’s now look back to my doctors visit in mid March, diagnosed me with Upper respiratory infection. My blood work came back with a positive results that I have the Covid – 19 antibodies – So 2 + 2 = I had Covid-19 in March! Now we are at the beginning of October – still not 100%, some days I’m good some day’s not so good, but through it all, I kept playing and produced an album that I really feel is some of my best work to date. The album is called, “Multiplier” it has 12 songs in total and is ready to go – stay tuned for the release date.

It’s the end of the summer of 2020. Besides the frigging Pandemic, I would say it was a very uneventful summer except for the release of my single ”Whatcha Wanna” in which did pretty good on a Spotify and many other of the digital streaming and download sites. I do have to tell you though I do miss the old vinyl and the cover art and stories that went along with the old fashion vinyl record releases. I know that vinyl is making a small comeback to music aficionado’s and purists but it’s not the same. Used to be able to go to Tower Records and wait for the album to come out and grab the first one of the shelf. To hold that album cover, rip off the cellophane and hold that piece of vinyl in you hand -(by the edges) no fingerprints please and place it on my Techniques turntable and crank it up with those 15″ woofers and high end tweeters on a crown amp was magic! Now it’s mostly if not entirely digital. I really think the younger generation is missing out on that experience.

Well the good new’s is that I will definitely have a new album coming out this year and sadly to say no it won’t be on vinyl. The music (12 songs in total) is completely done and I am working on the art work and the stories behind the songs for it’s release – will be released either by late November or early December. I also have 2 video’s already completed in which i’m shooting for another single off of the album to be released before the actual full album is released. A remixed and mastered version of “Whatcha Wanna” will be one of the songs included on the album. I will be posting more about the album, all leading up to the single release and then the album release. So stay with me and help an indie artist get the music out there!

I’m amazed at the diversity of countries and cultures listening to Aldo music. It makes me feel good that I can share some good music and feelings around the globe. Take a look below in the past few months all the countries that have been listening and streaming. Obviously the USA is number 1 in listeners–“the home country” – but the rest of the world is catching right on. The new single “Whatcha Wanna” has a ton of like’s, saves and downloads via Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and many other digital formats. I added some links at the bottom of the page so you can zoom right in and take a listen.

Not only has people been listening to Aldo music, I have never before been on so many different sources to be able to get the music out there by digitally streaming, downloads and alternate sources to access my music. The story of this song, as you listen to the lyric’s is about a selfish girl getting what she wants with no regard for the other person. She’s gonna do what she wants any time and any way. It’s a true rock and roll song with straight forward drums, bass guitar and guitar, nothing more. Strong vocals with some saucy lyric’s.
