Drinking and drugs will put you in a state – your mind is hazy and your life you hate. Just when you think you got off the floor, your demons are conquered, you’re looking for more. Your head is spinning just like a top, hanging on the bowl now you up chuck. As you are down on your luck and look at the road, there is that toad in the middle of that road, a car goes by that toad goes splat sorry to say that’s where it’s at, “Everything is Flat!”
I struggle in the Night in the Dark
When I speak
I ramble
Just another Breakdown

Stay with me to ring in the New Year with my upcoming new album release
“SIMPLE” It’s Rock n Roll!
I wrote this song at the tale end of the pandemic year in 2020. It was an instrumental piece that I did not get around to putting any vocals on it and it didn’t have a solid drum track. I was looking to send it over to my old band mate drummer from “The Lampshades”, but alas everybody was on lock down. So what are we going to do to get this drum track down? Texting back and forth with Gary the drummer, he had an idea to send him the track with the click track and he would figure it out and take it from there. A few weeks later, he sent me this Youtube video of him and his take on the drum parts for the song. I just came across it the other day and felt I had to share,
“Willow Creek” featuring Gary Sabshon on drums!
Here is an unreleased song that I had in my data banks that I would like to share
Only ROCK “N” ROLL
Tell me what you think! – Should I formally release it??
Yes – as Paul McCartney states – Not just another silly Love song. This song has some oriental overtones to it with the Sakura instrument. Finding your love and following your soul.
With Latin percussion through out the song — a song with Spanish Flair – You must know how to dance to the Bossa Bass a Nova? If not you should take the time to learn, it’s just a two step – slow- quick quick 1-2 – Now that you got it, I know you got it – Let’s take it Uptown!
“Another” was written with this neat plugin called Dark Theory. It has some, (I think) Pink Floyd overtones to it, obviously “another” one of my earlier influences. It has a progression that meanders through the atmosphere with some background tones from the Dark Theory. This is a full on instrumental that you need to crank the volume, smoke a joint and be immersed in “Another” time and space continuum.
